Herbs + Flowers

Is loose leaf tea better for you ?

Loose leaf teas are truly the way to go. Unlike boxed or bagged teas, loose leaves have the freedom to fully expand, allowing them to soak up water and release richer aromas, deeper flavors, and more nutrients. With bagged teas, some companies use packaging that may not be safe, and what you're often left with are tiny dust particles and stems, which don’t offer much in terms of benefits.
Powdered teas, on the other hand, are wonderful for a boost of energy and caffeine since you're consuming the entire plant, giving you an entirely different experience compared to loose leaf.

How to

Brew your Tea

For optimal benefits, avoid using the microwave—its radiation can reduce your tea’s natural potency. Instead, bring water to a gentle boil on the stove. While it heats, scoop about 1 tablespoon of your loose herbs into your favorite cup. Add honey now or after, as your ritual prefers. Once the water is hot, pour it over the herbs and let steep for 10–15 minutes, allowing the aroma, nutrients, and flavor to fully bloom. Sip slowly, using a filtered tea spoon to keep each moment smooth and uninterrupted.
